#26 Scream of the Butterfly!

Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 26 of our spin-off show about the weird world of softcore skin-flicks! This episode, we head back to 1965, for proto-softcore sexploitation potboiler Scream of the Butterfly! It's half energetic far-out melodrama, and half static law office drama - quite literally, in the sense that both parts are written and directed by separate teams and share no actors. So that's frankly unusual. Also it turns out the film as a whole is weirdly divisive amongst the cast of Get Soft, and probably not in the way you'd expect! Plus, we talk about the life and times of both Eber and Nélida Lobato, the director and star of the film! Director and star of the better half, that is. They were dancers from Argentina, who made it sort of big in the US, then went to Paris and made it pretty big, and then went back to Argentina, and became superstars!
