Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 27 of our spin-off show about the weird world of softcore skin-flicks!

This time around, we check out the 1973 super weird softcore drama And When She Was Bad (aka There Was a Little Girl), which was written by, directed by, photographed by, edited by, and produced by Gary Graver. Oh, and he also appears in two completely separate non-speaking roles in the same scene. This movie is really bananas, on practically every level. It is SO WEIRD. Especially the music. The music is amongst the weirdest you will ever hear in a movie.

And, of course, we talk about the life and times of Gary Graver. How could we talk about anyone else this episode? Graver directed everything from horror to erotic thrillers to exploitation to sex comedies, and also did about 150 porn films under the name Robert McCallum. He was also cinematographer on over 200 films. Some of those were for his good friend Orson Welles!

Coincidentally, between the time we recorded this episode and the time it's going up, it was announced that they finally wrapped post-production on Welles' The Other Side of the Wind (which Graver shot), some 48 years after they started filming it. Now that's bananas!
