Dr. Snuggles and friends return for episode 40 of our spin-off show about the weird world of softcore skin-flicks!
It’s the end of an era, as we take a look at the last of the Sidaris filmography, with Andy’s 1998 swansong L.E.T.H.A.L. Ladies: Return to Savage Beach. It’s a gigantic, complicated, labyrinthine piece of work: literally minutes of exposition at a time, and an ending that would make the writers of Scooby Doo wonder if they'd gone too far. Plus, all the usual gadgets, remote controlled vehicle explosions and fit-’em-in-where-you-can sex scenes you’ve come to expect from the great man. Is the film a perfect ending to a wonderful career? Well, that’s up for debate, but we do all get a little misty eyed saying goodbye to a great filmmaker.
And this time we turn the spotlight on the legendary Shae Marks: Tiger herself! She only did two of Andy’s films, but she made an unforgettable impact, that’s for sure. She was best buds with co-stars Carrie Westcott and Julie Strain, and almost starred in a film written and directed by Julie’s then-husband (and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator) Kevin Eastman called Phasmophobia! Unfortunately it never got off the ground. Goddamn! What a wild ride that would have been!
